Department Vision

Chico FFA will integrate both academic and technical preparation through classroom and laboratory instruction, supervised agricultural experience programs and leadership and interpersonal skill development to create students who are prepared for continued training, advanced educational opportunities, or career entry. Curriculum will be driven by the industry standards, needed by students in order to be career ready as set forth by current trends in agriculture, based on data provided from industry professionals, and the agriculture education community.

The mission of Chico FFA is to provide students with premier leadership, personal growth, and career success to prepare them for college and career readiness through an academically rigorous agricultural curriculum set by industry and state standards.

The FFA program will give students opportunities through Career and Leadership Development Events that push students competitively, socially, and academically

2024 - 2025 Chico FFA SMART Goal: 

Outcome:

2023 - 2024 Chico FFA SMART Goal: Our SMART goal for this semester is to have in increase in the number of members who attend our year end banquet. We will have until May 8th, 2024 to complete our goal. This goal will be measured using the AET Meeting Manager.

Outcome: Banquet attendance was at 183. This number was 23 people more than the previous year. 

2022 - 2023 SMART Goal: Not Determined. 

Outcome: We did not have an identified SMART goal in the previous school year.
